Here is another gorgeous family! And they included their parents this day. Which just melts my heart. It makes me think of my grandparents who I miss deeply. They always told me that they were ornery. Which was far from the truth. Maybe a little fiery, but sweet as pie. And these adorable two were just like them.
I loved all the one liners from Austin Powers, Princess Bride, and Zoolander movies. I know there were a ton more because I was constantly laughing. Yes, you are ridiculouslygood-looking. Thanks for all the smiles and laughs you guys.
It’s quite helpful for me when we have great weather. So sessions are in full force right now. I’ve opened up a time slot on Sunday mornings to help free up some time on Saturdays. This may work well for some of you.
I met this adorable family last weekend at one of my favorite parks to shoot at. It was an overcast day, which I personally love. I have more freedom to stand wherever I want and use up all the pretty backgrounds. And I thought I loved fall the most. Spring is just as beautiful.
These two boys sure have grown. Such polite little ones. They will be breaking hearts with those blue eyes!
Have you ever met someone and realized later that you had met previously? Well this happened to me with this beautiful mother. It had been about 6 years or so when her son was a young toddler. We met at a mutual friend’s baby shower. I guess I don’t forget faces. Especially ones that I’ve photographed. Names on the other hand I don’t have a clue two seconds after I’m told most of the time. I’ll have to try the rhyming game to get that down.
We had a great time together at the park running and exploring. Spring here is just as pretty as the fall with the willow trees and tiny budding flowers among the grass. Also along the boardwalk were a forest of ferns growing. It was beautiful. I want to go back and see more with my family soon.
And this baby with her tongue. Be still my heart. What a doll!!!
I’m very excited to share this session with you guys. It’s full of joy, laughter, love, energy, and one serious baby. I met this family through a referral of one of their sisters. Since they were such a lovely family I was not surprised to find out these guys were also awesome.
We literally had one beautiful sunny pacific northwest fall day that we happened to pick for the session. At the park there were at least 3 other photo shoots happening at the same time. I had to ask if I could borrow a tree another group was using. That’s a first for me. They were taking a break so we claimed the tree.
And today happens to be another beautiful day so I’m off for another family session. But first I hope you love my highlights. I have so many great images these guys received three times my ballpark number promised. I wish I could share them all but that would take you guys forever to look through. So here are a few to peruse.
This family introduced me to this awesome park in North Seattle. It has a beautiful beach with acres to explore and the trains pass through every hour. So the kids were mesmerized. We hiked a little of the trails during our session. I can’t wait to go back and adventure further up. We also saw the bubble man getting ready for a show. So much fun will be had here at Carkeek Park.
What a wonderful family! I can tell the outdoors are their place of choice. We found lots of creatures and interesting rocks, moss, leaves, bridges, and watched the mass of sailboats. My kind of morning!
Here are some of my highlights in the glorious, sunny, Seattle day.
Happiness is on the way for this adorable couple. I should say more happiness is on the way because I could see all the love they have for each other. Their energy was contagious. It was such an honor to capture and share. What can be more beautiful than a pregnant mamma glowing with the miracle of life coming?! I remember feeling so proud of my baby bump. I wanted to show off those curves whenever I got the chance.
I can’t wait to meet the tiny little human that’s almost done cooking. And I can’t wait to see those faces looking at him. Ahhhhhhh …. it’s going to be magical.
Here is a tiny little glimpse into their session. I gave them a gigantic amount of images. I couldn’t help it!
My dear friends are back. This always makes me overjoyed for the session. I know how to make them laugh and what to talk about right off the bat. Awkwardness averted!
This particular day we happened to watch the weather and got the only hour of the day that wasn’t a downpour. There were gusts of wind and sprinkles that we could use for a great session. We were lucky the weatherman was on point that day. Due to the weather, no one else was at the park, which is always a plus. I don’t need to wait while someone passes or have to crop them out. It’s just me and the subjects goofing off. I love it!
This family is very special to me. We’ve gone on vacations together now for years with our family. We call it going to crazy town (I have no real reason why, we just do). :)- Ah the memories!!! LOVE YOU GUYS to the moon and back!!
I would like to thank Google for helping this family find me. They are a wonderful loving family that come from my hometown. So we had tons in common and quickly felt like old friends. I used a fun little trick to get the doggies attention so they could join in with the smiles (one of my daughter’s squeaky toys). It worked like a charm.
This location is becoming one of my most used locations. I love it and the size allows me to shoot in different spots every time. Well I hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse into their lives with my favorites from the session.
So I found a girl with the most energy I’ve ever seen. Really! We met and after than she ran and ran and ran! So I tried to keep up! I think I’m going to really consider taking up running now to keep up with these clients of mine. It’s worth it because they are so vibrant and expressive. But I know I was out of breath!! 🙂
The first part of our session was a normal shoot and then we transformed into her pretend world with a tea party and dancing. I was tearing up when I saw the father daughter dancing. I have a daughter and I want my hubby to do this. These guys brought a cool experience along with them that was touching for me to capture. Needless to say I love these guys!!
I had another group of extended family for photos last month. Two of the families were clients previously so it was fun to see them all together! That was a ton of kiddos!
I love watching cousins together. I never had any my own age growing up so what a blessing that is to see. I’m so happy my own kids that this with their cousins too. I thought they rocked the outfits. I love the color combo and how they all still look different. It was so hot this day, but we survived without melting.
Thank you so much for coming back guys!! Here are my favorites from the session!!
