This is a very special maternity session with some dear friends. I’m so excited to see them journey into parenthood. They love adventure and I’m sure this little one will be on the mountain tops and in the woods straight away.
All the locations were on a road near their home. It was fun to see what we would find on the way out there. The creeping fog was an added bonus. And as you will see the graffiti was perfect. Also the pups about stole the show. They were adorable and loved the camera.
I can’t wait to meet this little bambino and take more pictures of them. Here are my favorites!~
The gift of custom photography is truly one of a kind. One of my latest sessions was a wonderful gift given by a previous client of mine. I know that I’m bias because I think its one of the of best gifts you could get. Moments like these are gone is a flash. And it’s hard to remember exactly what we look like when we are pregnant. I wish I had more than a few snapshots myself. So if it ever happens again I’ll be signing up for photos. (Did I mention I have gift certificates available?!)
I can’t wait to meet little Charlotte. She is going to arrive in a loving home with two big sisters to teach her everything she needs to know. She is going to have tea parties, mock weddings, and princess dress up days ahead. She already has amazing parents and sooooo much love coming her way. Now that’s the way to enter this world!
Here are a few of my favorites. I mention a few because I give a ton of images. ♥
Thank you Roxanne and Brittany! You are both amazing people. I am grateful to have you as friends. I feel like I share something special with you both. I love all the little ones you guys have in your lives. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
There is something about that glow on a pregnant woman. You can feel her warmth, her love, and her fantasy about what’s to come. There’s no fear of sleepless nights or a million dirty diapers to change. And let’s not mention the crying. I know….., long ago, I was that person. That state of bliss lasts at least 4 months. And I enjoyed every minute. So why shouldn’t you. Soak up the doting people around you. Eat what you want. Hang you head high. Strut your stuff. You own it girl. You are about to hop on the roller coaster of your life. That bliss may wear off, but you are about to experience something different. Something you can never quite explain to someone else in words. You have to live it to know what I’m talking about. All I know is that motherhood is worth every last bit of your blood, sweat, and tears. It’s the hardest most fulfilling job you will ever have.
Needless to say, I love photographing a mama to be. Don’t ever let that moment pass without documenting it.
These images are part of a new package I’m offering in the progressive pregnancy package. This is our second session. She is 6 months along here. Doesn’t she have the cutest, tiny baby bump.
Thank you so much to Holly and Josh for letting me be the one photographing your journey to parenthood. I am honored.
This photo shoot was sort of a fantasy for me. Three pregnant sisters that look amazing. I’m not sure it gets better than that. I almost think you couldn’t make that happen if you wanted to. But they prove me wrong because this was planned. They are within weeks of each other. So time with tell how far apart they actually deliver.
This type of shoot would definitely be on my photography bucket list. Well, it would have been if I could have thought it was actually a reality. I guess that’s the cool thing about this job. The unexpected falls on your lap and appears out of nowhere. I don’t think I want to limit myself to any one genre. Some may say that is not smart, but live and work the way you want to. You can make it happen!
We squeezed a maternity shoot in….literally. Mama is about to have the little bambino anyday now. That is if it didn’t already happen last night or today. I’m checking my phone for any texts of the news. Can you tell I’m excited!
This is a friend of mine in the shoot. She wants to stay private so the pics are limited. I have so many great ones I wish I could share! I think she will be very happy. Here is just a tidbit.
