Can you even stand how adorable this family is! I am so happy they came to me for there portraits. They are some more out-of-towners visiting family and scheduled a shoot. I photographed the mom some years back before marriage and her adorable baby girl came along.
They brought along the adorable props. The childhood heirloom chair, the giant pink balloon~I’m obsessed. I think the 8-12 months age is just heaven. They can’t run from me yet! Everything that comes in their path is amazement and wonder. I wish I could share the entire session!
*But here are my absolute favorites*
I was able to photograph this sweetheart thanks to an online referral on a Facebook discussion board for Bellevue. I have no idea who that was, but I am so thankful. I really want to thank all my clients for all their referrals. You guys are so appreciated!! I feel like it’s the absolute best way to find the best clients.
I adore these three. Emma was such a sleepy dream. I love those wrinkled elbows and shoulders. LOVE them! I am really able to get my baby fix with these little tiny humans. The little cries and facial expressions are so sweet. I miss that. So I hope this gives you guys that little “baby fix” as well.
Hello Spring! Hello new little humans.
My first new little lady to meet is Josie. What a real little dolly. She’s three weeks new on this day. A very alert and curious sweetheart. It was a dark overcast day, but we captured the little light we could. Of course now we have summer weather happening here in the PNW. Weather is sure a gamble in these parts. We played, snuggled, wrapped, unwrapped, and played some more. I thought it was super cute that she liked to be sitting up when changing outfits. I like a girl that knows what she wants! ;)
So here is a new layout for the images I’m giving a try. I have some new upgrades that I have purchased so feel free to private message me feedback. I have a new online gallery that is superior to the old format. So make sure you check it out. I do not have all the older sessions uploaded. However, if you would like to have yours up to see what cool things you can now purchase just let me know.
Enjoy this little beauty!
I had the pleasure of working with this family and their precious boy! He was a gift to work with. He was awake and alert. I always forget how teeny tiny newborns are. So it’s always a treat for me to have met another baby and share in the joy surrounding them.
I love this saying: a baby fills a place in your heart that you never knew was missing. Isn’t that the truth! You will find out what that means when you have this experience in life. So for me to know that feeling and then see others love for their babies, I’m pretty much blissing out.
Thanks for listening to me ramble and enjoy the highlights on this session.
Watching this little beauty grow up is such a joy for me. But it’s going too fast! I’ll blink and she’ll be walking and running. She has some gorgeous baby blues doesn’t she!!
During the six month session they are my captive and can’t run. I love it! I get tons of huge belly laughs and smiles. Usually lots of drool still spilling out, but I’d don’t mind that! Drool on baby! As usual, we have lots of fun! Here are some of my favorites!♥
Oh little Blaiz…..What a cutie! What can I say about the sweet pureness of being only a few days old. He’s another perfect little being. I just wanted to cuddle him. I was so excited when the family asked to come back with baby number two. He has a lovely big sis watching over him and wonderful parents. He was wide awake for most of the session which I am partial to. I love newborns awake and asleep. I love their curious nature and innocence.
So I ooohhhhed and ahhhhhhed over him
And came up with this batch of favorites. I hope you have some ooooohhhhs and ahhhhs too.
Here we are on a late Sunday night blogging away. The weather has been changing so we’ll be back outside soon. But we’ve had a baby boom in my business. All the sessions have been little newborns lately. And I’m LOVING it. You guys are welcome to bring over as many as possible!
This little one was so content. The parents were natural pros, adoring her every minute. I noticed they were crafty and creative when I arrived at their home. So we incorporated some of the décor into the shoot. They also had homemade headbands made up ready to use. I was impressed. So here is just a glimpse of our session of oooshie gooshie dreamy baby bliss. Awwww……
And here’s a huge thank you to Andrea for giving this gift to the family. What a wonderful friend you are to be so generous! You are a gem!
I’m plugging right along. I’m going to try to work as long as I can during this pregnancy. So far I feel pretty good over all. A few days here and there I’m uncomfortable, but pushing through. I already feel huge. I can’t imagine how I’ll feel in the next 4 months. Boy oh boy!
I have found out I’m having a girl. Which has been such a surprise and gift to us. I really didn’t think it was possible since we have mostly boys on the Martin side of the family. All I cared about was having a healthy baby that I didn’t set my heart on what I wanted. So both of us are very excited to experience this new journey.
On to the highlights of this post. Here we are with a six month photo shoot this sweet baby girl. Time is flying. And this time the family got in for some pictures. I think they are a gorgeous family inside and out. I decided to leave out a few of the best images out of this session so the family could be surprised when they see them for the first time.
I hope you guys enjoy these as must as I do.
Angela and Ian, I just love working with you guys. I probably keep saying that over and over, but I really mean it!
I love watching her grow up.
This little one is about 2 1/2 weeks new. I could have played and snuggled him all day. He was so precious and adorable. And he was surrounded by two loving big sisters and lots of furry family pets watching over his every move. It was so touching to watch.
His mama told me it wasn’t supposed to be possible for her to have this amazing miracle. And here he is….a true gift. I’m so happy for them.
Here are my favorites from the session.
Thank you so much Jessica for allowing me to photograph your beautiful precious new one and your adorable girls. It’s amazing we were in the same junior high and high school and that now we finally meet after all that time in the same place.
Here we are in November with a bunch of sessions coming on the blog. And to start, I have an adorable family of three. They picked this awesome location in Seattle, Discovery Park. I think it’s a must see in our area. The website says this about it: The site is one of breathtaking majesty. Situated on Magnolia Bluff overlooking Puget Sound, Discovery Park offers a spectacular view of both the Cascade and the Olympic Mountain ranges. The secluded site includes two miles of protected tidal beaches as well as open meadow lands, dramatic sea cliffs, forest groves, active sand dunes, thickets and streams. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get over there. If you want to get down to the beach you can walk 1.5 miles or grab a permit to park. But it’s very limited so you may have to plan for the walk. However, we were lucky and got the last pass left. PHEW! Now that I’m 4 and 1/2 months pregnant I’m thankful that happened.
This wonderful family felt like they were old friends of mine. I’m really not sure how I cross paths with such awesome people. But I am!! Lucky me.
I hope you enjoy my favorites from the session!
Thank you so much Carrie and Mickey for choosing me to photograph your family. You’re little lady is so sweet and happy. I can tell she is such a joy for you both. I hope to see you guys back in the summer!
