When curiosity is alive, we are attracted to many things; we discover many worlds.

What is it like to be this family? What does their love look like? How do they feel about each other? Who’s funny….who’s serious….who’s cautious…the list running in my mind is on full speed. It’s driving me to capture these moments. And I wish I could blog all the sessions. But for now I’m blogging the full sessions or events.
There are many things going on with headshots, mini sessions, and personal projects. It’s too much to blog it all. And keep up with the social media. So if you want it all you’ll have to follow my stories.
I had some training over the weekend in the art of interviewing. I tried to relate how storytelling from my vantage point behind the camera would add to each person’s personal story. Much of what I’m doing is anticipating what emotion is coming next and how to get that emotion out of them. I’m asking questions and getting to know people on a deeper level. It’s very intertwined with what I learned from the experts. I’m so grateful for the experiences I can now dissect and learn from.
This next session needs a picture of what the pull back looked like. Steady rain with a little covering over a sandy floor. It was cold and windy. But none of that even mattered. We had smiles and warmth from the good time we had together. Not the easiest to create with those weather conditions.
