Last week, I photographed these two soul mates uniting as one in an intimate ceremony at the Salish lodge in Snoqualmie. The venue with the raging waterfalls and beautiful grounds set the tone as close family gathered to support them. I photographed this flower girl 7 years ago at my home. Now her family has grown and so much love surrounds her. All the details were beautiful and classic. What an honor to be a part of.
I wish you guys all the best. This is a tiny glimpse of the images I’m sending their way.
Another new life arrived for photographs this week. She was 21 days new. She brought along her adorable big sister who enjoyed all of Olivia’s toys and patiently waited her turn. We started at Lake Rasmussen which is a close to my place. It was as beautiful as ever there. This was also the first time big sis (she is two) got to hold her sister. It was very sweet to watch. She was very gentle and loving as you can see.
I used some very precious tie backs from Carli. The white fawn and the green ones are from her shop. If you are local and make newborn props message me. I’d love to add some more pretties to my collection.
Here are just a few of my favorites of this darling family.
Here is another gorgeous family! And they included their parents this day. Which just melts my heart. It makes me think of my grandparents who I miss deeply. They always told me that they were ornery. Which was far from the truth. Maybe a little fiery, but sweet as pie. And these adorable two were just like them.
I loved all the one liners from Austin Powers, Princess Bride, and Zoolander movies. I know there were a ton more because I was constantly laughing. Yes, you are ridiculouslygood-looking. Thanks for all the smiles and laughs you guys.
It’s so great to photograph friends. This is my third session with these guys and these kiddos are just beaming ear to ear with smiles and giggles and energy. I love these ages. they can rock a pose without even a flinch. We can climb trees and play games and harass mom and dad. They can tell me jokes and family secrets. So what is there not to love.
We had Grandma is town so she got to join in the fun. And a little snake photo bomber came out at just the right time. I love the outfit colors too.
I hope that you guys are having a great summer. If you are considering a fall session for your family call or email me soon. The weekends are filling up. I’m also happy to book winter and spring now as well. Up next are families, a newborn session, and an intimate wedding.
Before the smoke rolled in from the forest fires in Canada, I met up with this ambitious mama of three to take her headshots and photograph her studio and a live massage. I have had a few massages from her at her studio in Bellevue now and she is amazing. I highly recommend her. I’ve also had a few clients of mine who have taken barre classes from her and say she’s the best. So one day I will have to go myself. I have so many friends raving about this type of workout. I have to see what it’s all about! I will probably die. 😉
What a lovely family. How can I have the most amazing clients?! I think kind, amazing families stick close to other kind, amazing families. So I want to say THANK YOU for the referrals everyone! You are sending me such wonderful friends and family. I am forever grateful! I leave with a gigantic smile each time feeling renewed with joy and passion in my craft.
These angelic littles were so beautiful and adored each other. We played and giggled and I loved how the parents made them belly laugh. We explored a few different areas of my favorite location.
I hope you all are having a fabulous vacation. Between all my sessions you can find me at the beach or on the water.
I got a call from this adorable family living in Texas who were going to be visiting their parents and wanted to have pictures done while they were here. What a fabulous idea in case you were wondering how to make your next trip memorable for yourselves.
They were fun and the kids definitely knew what to do. They were quite the pros. We are back at one of my favorite spots. And as many times as I shoot here we never run of out backdrops!
I hope you all are having a fabulous summer! We just came back from Portland and ate our way through town. And the no tax shopping wasn’t bad either. Next up with be our “Don’t Give Up!” regional convention, a spiritual three-day feast. It will be a time to meditate, pray, and self examine myself. I look forward to this time of the year with my family and close friends. If you’re curious about this check it out here.
Here are my favorites images of my favorite Texans~
Summer has started at our house with a mean dose of allergies. But we press on through swim class, water balloon fights, and trampoline jumping. More to come for sure. So stay tuned! Maybe I’ll do a personal blog here soon.
A sweet beautiful baby girl came in the studio this past week. She preferred being awake which is fine by me. There is nothing like some eye contact from a new little baby. I could stare at newborns for hours. However, I have to be a busy bee if they snooze for a few minutes. And that’s what happened so I moved quickly during that few minutes. And at the end we did some headshots for her Dad.
I want to wish this family the best. They came to me before a move back to the islands. ~Aloha~ I’m glad we met before you left. You have such a beautiful little princess.
Somehow I booked four sessions in a week. So I’ve been non stop editing everyday. That’s the most I’ve ever done in one week. But I thought, how is that different from a wedding? It’s still less photos to edit. A typical wedding can be around 800 photos to edit.
It’s been a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Olivia is out already, but now we are brushing up on some swim classes so we are ready for all that summer has to bring. I’m currently making our bucket list of things to do. Dylan asked if we could go to Amazon to have lunch with Grammy. I thought that was super cute. We used to visit often at Microsoft, but we haven’t been to amazon yet. He must be curious about all the packages I buy from there.
This adorable family came to me for their son’s graduation pictures back in the fall. I love how playful and fun they are together. The kids (well they are both adults) remind me a lot of my brother and I. The same distance apart and I was older just like them. I just told them to do what I would do to my brother. 🙂
Here are my favorites! They promised me a fun pic would be over the mantel so I’m hoping it’s the jumping shot!
♥Sweet baby love on the blog this lovely Saturday♥
Baby number three in her family arrived and has been showered with love by her family and friends. Isn’t she just precious! I had so much fun playing with her and she looks so adorable in all her outfit changes. All the outfits are a collaboration her mother and I put together. The board with her name on it was an etsy find and I just adore it! Someday I’d like to craft one myself.
This was my sixth session I’ve had with this awesome family. I love seeing all the kids grow up. It’s a special part of my job. And all the baby snuggles are a fantastic part as well.
I hope you’ll enjoy these images with the same love I have for them.
