You don’t always need words to tell the story. The photos can show us a deeper part of that journey sometimes. During my sessions I love to ask clients about the special moments of how they met. When I hear how people feel about themselves it help me to capture those feelings. And what a better way for someone to be much more comfortable in front of you. Anxiety is real. I experience it. And people have the ability to help us relieve that stress. Could that be called a camera whisperer? I don’t know. But I did work in Dental and most patients were uncomfortable and stressed out. Even to the point of tears sometimes. It was necessary to be gentle and calm for them. I learned so much in those 10 years. I am convinced that it helps me today connecting with others and forming lasting relationships in photography.
This gorgeous duo have an incredible bond. They had fun and were up for anything I asked them to do. I’ve photographed a few of Salena’s milestones and now I’m able to capture this one. Its really special for me. They both radiate beauty inside and out. And they are a joy to be around.
I absolutely love this location too. When we visited this beach before I never noticed the lighthouse area. It was so pretty all around the grounds. And we were able to grab some Ivars with my family before the shoot. Now that’s a win win.
I’m so excited to also capture their wedding next month.
