I thought I’d switch things up and post the images without the dynamic grid. Let me know which format you like better. I personally think this showcases the images better. If I could figure out how to make the grid larger, then it would be a close tie for me
Our fabulous fall didn’t disappoint for this sunset session at my clients home. They have an amazing view of the valley and had pastel pink skies with a clear cloudless sky. My little friend here showed me all the around the property and inside their gorgeous home. They have the best pantry door and cool lighting that I might have been drooling.
I also found out this little beauty’s favorite super hero is Superman just like her daddy. I watched her amazing moves on the trampoline, swinging like superman, and met all her chickens. Oh and her new little kitten. I can’t wait to see her again. It’s a pretty awesome time photographing friends.
Up next are some more families session. Just in time for mailing out cards.√
This little cutie was back for her one year photos. The highlight of course was the cake smash. It was exploding with cuteness for me to watch her devour her cupcake. She didn’t hesitate for a second to begin digging in. Just a few crumbs remained.
Since the weather had been so terrible, dark, and rainy I’ve had many of my sessions postpone in hopes of the sun making an appearance. But this doll could come hang in the studio. So we had no problems capturing her curious nature and that million dollar smile (I had that saying said about my daughter so it makes me laugh inside to write it out with the memory attached to her too).
After a year goes by you see this totally different tiny human arrive. It’s really amazing. One thing remained the same, however, her sweet happy nature and the joy in her mamas eyes as she watches her. I’m sure I have the most obnoxious smile on my smile observing. So pay no attention to my expressions while I photograph you. Inside my head I’m screaming I LOVE MY JOB! Next up are a couple of family sessions. So make sure to come back for a peek.
After a few private sessions I have one I can share. If you are ever wondering about keeping your session private please ask. I have password protection and can skip the social media and blogging-no problemo!
Look who has turned two! My little doll faced client and friend. She has a adorably expressive personality with loads of energy. I was tired, but I did manage to wear her out enough for a nap afterwards. Which made her parents very happy and they followed suit and joined her.
I loved meeting their new little kitty who loved the balloons. He was so sweet and snuggly. And dad joined in the session today. What’s sweeter than little girls and their daddies?!
Here are the highlights. I wish I could share every image. I just loved them all.
I hope everyone is having a fabulous labor day weekend! I’ve been trying to cram everything in. Every year we usually hit up the Evergreen State Fair. There we eat fair food until we’re sick and then go on some rides so we can feel even worse. Why do we do this to ourselves?! Well the scones were really good and that elephant ear…..
Last week this little cutie was back. And for the entire session she was so happy and content. She did not cry once for all the modeling she did. I wish I could play with her more. She is soooooo adorable. And she’s already a Husky fan!
Here is just a couple of my favorite images from the different set ups we had going. Go Tuzla!
Angela, thank you so much for coming back with your precious baby girl! She is sugar and spice and everything nice! I just adore her!
It’s time to get a little personal. I’ve been photographing this little one since birth and this month is no exception. She sparkles like glitter in my life. Her laughter lights up the room. And her silky smooth skin feels so soft. I could go on and on about her. I ♥ being an Auntie!
We had some quality time at the park last week and I just wanted to share it with you guys!
These two have a thing for each other. One giggles and the other gets jumpy and energized.
I saved the best for last. I didn’t realize a baby could laugh the same way we do. The laugh that makes you tear up and almost pee your pants. LOL.
If you look up the word miracle in the dictionary you might find this definition:
1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.
2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.
3. a wonder; marvel.
4. a wonderful or surpassing example of some quality: a miracle of modern acoustics.
But if you really want to understand the meaning of what a miracle is you can ask any mother and she will be able to tell you.
This session involved one such miracle of life. I can see clearly what this little one means to her mother. She is her everything. She wraps a warm blanket of love around her shielding her from all harm. We all deserve to have a mother so caring and nurturing as this. And if you are not so fortunate to have this allow me to extend the olive branch to you. Here is a glimmer of what I saw.
Thank you so much for coming to meet for such a special time in your life. You have one amazing little girl to raise!
So many changes are coming up folks. The summer is ending and school starting. Since I only have one child, who is starting the first grade, I’ll be left alone all day. That sound fantastic, but my mind is in panic mode. And I want to fill my time wisely. So I’m hoping to book more clients during this ever so valuable time, hence my Back to School Special. I’ll be volunteering at school and spending more time in my ministry. I’ll also be trying things I never had before~like canning. So here’s to change.
The family in this post is about the sweetest family you could meet. As we spend more time together I have this feeling we are going to be life long friends. Our friendship, in my eyes, is such a positive one. I always feel good, laugh, and are motivated to be a better person afterwards.
We headed to one of my favorite childhood parks, Farrel-Mcwhirter Farm Park in Redmond. This park has animals to pet, huge areas of grass, and trails to explore. They have a great preschool there too that some of my friends have sent their children too. There is actually quite the waiting list if you want to get in.
Here are some of my favorites from our session together.
I appreciate so much that you guys came to me for your family pictures! Your kids are so creative with all their ideas for shots and you guys were too. I love a collaboration! Finding that tractor was a sweet surprise too. I couldn’t ask for better support. Thank you~thank you~thank you!
First off,♥ happy first day of summer ♥. I think it may have hit 8O° today. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! This would be the first day of the year that was in the 8Os. Bring on the heat!
No more pencils…no more books. School’s out for summer. I’m kicking off with my traditional park day meet up with all my mommy friends. I think I’ve been sending out evites for at least 4 years now. It’s a great way to meet new people and explore all the parks in the area. If fact, the location of this session was at one of my favorites parks~Country Village in Bothell. On Saturday we were able to get kettle corn and the train was on the move for the kids.
You may recognize this lovely family. These are a few highlights of their second session with me. What an honor. I am so happy to see the babies I shoot grow up. She came with a huge smile and wispy hair, which equals pure eye candy for me to photograph. It was great to have such interactive parents. I really didn’t have to do much, other than take a paparazzi stance.
Thank you so much for coming back to me. I wish I could play with your little more. She is so full of joy and love. You guys are great parents!
What a free spirit! I’ve watched her grow up into this young lady, full of life and expression. The other day I could hardly recognize her with her new hair and her iPod shuffle in. Where did the time go?! I’m just not ready for this.
Keep singing, playing with those cute stuffed animals, and no makeup for you! Just kidding, your mom will tell you her story one day. Love Aunty! P.S. You’ll never fool us with the same old movie routine. The minute you say you have to see the same movie twice (ours was the movie “Dave”) we’ll be onto you! 🙂
